This brilliant later Mughal fort sits atop a hill in the desert landscape of Rajasthan, has lovely forest of Anogeissus and Boswellia all around it, and a totally abandoned lovely persona. No one in sight for miles. One can walk into the gate and then up and right through the fort to the upper ramparts, with frescos and paintings or semi-previous stone and inlaywork in the marble walls. What an experience and a fabulous view from atop it. Where is this fort located and which famous prisoner did it once house? Watch this space for the answer in 24 hours' time!
