Greater Kailash (often referred to as GK) is a residential area in South Delhi, comprising several neighborhoods and multiple markets. It is home to some of the most affluent families in Delhi. It is divided into two zones, namely Parts 1 and 2, located around a section of the Outer Ring Road.Greater Kailash 1 was developed in the 1960s by DLF Limited when Delhi Government allowed private developers to build colonies, and is today one of the more affluent neighborhoods in the city. The markets in M and N Block are some of the most popular markets in Delhi, home to a wide range of retail stores, such as Giovanni, Next, Puma, Nike, Adidas and Lacoste, and several restaurants and coffee houses. The N-Block market is the location of Fabindia's first retail store, and many eating houses. source
