Yukta Mookhey says "I try my best to keep up with the values and principles that I have been taught as a young girl. I am growing in the Indian culture and tradition where we learn to respect our elders no matter what, we learn to be right and take pride in whatever we do." Yukta was born in the Sindhi-speaking Mookhey family in Bombay, Maharashtra, India, on October 7, 1979. She studied in Dubai, U.A.E. for seven years, as her father worked over there. The family relocated to Mahatma Gandhi Road, Mulund (West), Bombay during the year 1986. After completing her school, she went on to study at V.G. Vaze College, Mulund and obtained a degree in Zoology. She has also studied Fine Arts for 3 years; has a diploma in computers from Aptech, and three years Hindustani Classical Music course. She s
