Swastik sign in use in every-day Indian life - seen here at the entrance gate of a New Delhi residence. A range of swastik uses in the every-day life of India: on an auto-rickshaw scooter, at a temple, on a car, a sidewalk, a wall, just about anywhere - even placed strategically on a public wall so that passers-by do not pee on it! The swastika (卐) (Sanskrit: स्वस्तिक) is an equilateral cross with four arms bent at 90 degrees.
