The country's new political life enters a new phase today with the third Non-Congress Prime Minister of Independent India sworn-in in New Delhi shortly after 12 noon. The day marked the end of political uncertainties prevailing in the country from the beginning of this week but the air of suspense was sustained till the last. During the ceremony came in the surprise. Mr. Devilal was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister. The Ashoka Hall was packed the capacity with political leaders and media persons. the list of dignitaries was long. As soon as he enters the hall Mr. V. P. Singh met with Mr. Rajiv Gandhi.
