Shahid Kapoor: I can only do my job as an actor, to perform well and leave the rest to the team. I am not the captain of the ship, whether the film is good or bad, but I am very instinctive when it comes to choosing films, what's important is I should feel excited when I hear the script. I am too young to be very particular about what kind of film I should do or not, I eventually will learn over the years. Criticism is important but depends on where it is coming from. For me, my critics are my parent because they are honest with their reviews not just write or say it to please me.
