Sunflower seed oil is one of the healthiest and lightest cooking mediums in India! People from the north-east of India love eating sunflower seeds, as a snack. Not just a flower, Sunflower is grown for the seeds and oil it produces. Sunflowers are a sign of warmth, loyalty and longevity, considered as the happiest of flowers. It dates back to 1000 B.C. It also deeply inspired the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh well known for his series of Sunflower paintings. In a letter to his brother Theo, Van Gogh wrote: "It is a kind of painting that rather changes in character, and takes on a richness the longer you look at it.
