The Notre-Dame de Liesse church is a French Catholic church located in the town of Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Largely rebuilt during the mid-19th century after its 14th-century predecessor was damaged during the French Revolution, the Church of Our Lady of Liesse rises over Annecy's Vieille Ville (Old Town). The oldest part of the church is the 16th-century square bell tower, and the oldest church bell, weighing 400 kilos, dates back to 1655 and still rings every Angelus. The fountain with the obelisk, lions and turtles was installed in 1859, and the church's Neoclassical interior is beautifully dappled with light by huge rose windows.
