Mystic and enchanting Tawang Monastery or Gaden Namgyal Lhatse as seen from the sky. Nestled among the high altitude mountains of Arunachal Pradesh in East India. The yellow roofs of the monastery stand out among the green and rugged mountains. Situated on the edge of a very high cliff, the monastery is elevated from the small town of Tawang. This is the largest monastery in India and second in the world after the Potala Palace in Tibet. This is the seat of Tibetan Buddhism in the East of India.
