Sikh Nagar Kirtan procession fills Delhi streets with devotion

The immense devotion and vibrant atmosphere of a traditional Sikh Nagar Kirtan moving through the busy streets of Delhi, India. At the heart of the procession is a beautifully decorated float carrying the sacred Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. The float is elaborately adorned with golden marigold flowers, white floral garlands, and colourful decorations, while being gently towed along the route. Leading the procession are the Panj Pyare (Five Beloved Ones), dressed in traditional Sikh attire and symbolising the founding principles of the Khalsa. Thousands of devotees walk alongside, participating in continuous recitations of Gurbani, devotional hymns, and religious chants.
