Now, under the national policy feed and fodder section is given highest priority and it is equally drawing attention from all directions. During the last financial year, the department has taken up few important progresses for bringing improvement and strengthening feed fodder resources. Under the grassland development scheme the department was able to cultivate and produce nutritionally good quality, high yielding exotic varieties of fodder grasses such as Hybrid Napies 10-1 & 10-2, signal, congo-signal, Guinea grass para grass and Himil grass from Karfectar farm alone more than ten lakh seedlings have been sup
