Punjab National Bank housing finance and State Bank of India have reduced the interest rate on housing loans. ICICI, HDFC, HUDCO, SBI and PNB housing finance have all reduced the interest rates on housing loans. It seems like a storm of reduction in interest rates for housing loans. This led to a silent war within the lender companies for a reduction in interest rates for housing loans.
