'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' chants from migrant workers as their train from Surat leaves for their own native places during the Corona Lockdown. Police officers and railway officials to ensure social distancing and any unwanted incidents are seen seeing off the migrant workers. Relatives and friends are also seen on the platform seeing off the passengers. Thousands of migrant workers were left stranded in other states during the Corona Lockdown as transport services ceased plying for the entire period of the lockdown. Thousands also experienced having to walk hundreds of kilometres with their children and family.
