Migrant workers from other states in hundreds are seen marching in Surat, Gujarat demanding that they be sent home and their wages paid after the country came to a total halt. The Coronavirus outbreak had led to two months of nationwide lockdown in India and rendered thousands unemployed. Migrant workers and daily wage labourers are seen on the streets with no physical distancing whatsoever and few wearing protective masks. The workers can be heard demanding that they want to be sent home to their native places.
