The ceremonial Doli of Lord Rudranath departs from Gopinath Temple in Gopeshwar, Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, marking the beginning of the Rudranath Yatra. The dome-shaped palanquin is decorated with orange and yellow marigold garlands as priests and devotees carry it through the temple premises. A large gathering of men, women and children surrounds the Doli, with many devotees reaching out to touch or support the palanquin. The temple courtyard features traditional stone and wooden architecture decorated with flower garlands and banners, while traditional musicians and a marching band perform during the ceremony. The scene shows the religious procession and community gathering associated with the annual journey of the Rudranath Doli.
