Indian music composer, Singer, and lyricist Mehboob speaks about his career. He says, "I have a friend named Ismail Darbar he is a violinist. We both formed a team and started to make music I used to write and he used to compose. He is also a friend of film director Ram Gopal Verma and when he listened to my lyrics he appreciated me and when he decided to make Rangeela he asked me to contribute to the music of his film. Rangeela was first Hindi film of mine and A. R. Rehman. We are compatible with each other and we did many other films after Rangeela. I did Khauf with Anu Malik. It was a very prestigious occasion for me to write something for 50th Independence Day. It was my luck the A. R. Rehman chose me to write for his album Maa Tujhe Salaam.
