Thousands of devotees arrive at the Devaragattu Temple in Andhra Pradesh at the event of Deveragattu Dasara or Banni Utvasam during the Corona Pandemic. This is one of the most bizarre festivals in India where devotees use sticks to hit each other in the head in a controlled manner. Devotees can be seen with lit sticks, sticks as part of the festival ritual. This is commemoration of the triumph of lord Shiva over the demon Mala-Malleswara.
