Another classic example of absurdity in ritualism followed by the majority of Indians while visiting a temple is the wastage of milk. Devotees wasted thousand and thousands litres of MILK in giving a bath to 'Shiv Lingam' in temples. As can be seen, the milk is being fed to lifeless idols of Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Nandi the bull with the help of a spoon.
