At the best of times, the Make in India vaccines may not be everything they were cracked out to be. At the worst of time (just about now, perhaps), there are no vaccines left for Indians, but lots of them to be given away, clearly, as part of vaccine diplomacy, to other countries, even as we fight our battles alone, without the support of our leaders who are busier with state elections! Are the 'Make in india' Covid19 vaccines really effective? Going by the number of double dose people who have died, this brings the entire vaccine programme into doubt.
