There is an increase in the number of pilgrims after the holy bath on Mauni Amavasya during Maha Kumbh Mela. It is being considered that more than 250 pilgrims would take dips into the water but it is a challenge for Police to manage those pilgrims. The Maha Kumbh Mela organizers have taken many important steps for the security of pilgrims. A police officer speaks about security arrangements during Kumbh Mela. He says, ""Approximately 8,000 of manpower we would deploy at peak hours. Different organizations are helping us such as CRPF, ITBP and BSF is helping us in materials. PSC is our own wing but central organizations, Army, Naval Divers are coming to maintain peace and security in the area."
