With cops cracking the whip on pubs, lounges and hookah joints, many youngsters are choosing farmhouses located on Delhi outskirts to celebrate their weekends, as they don't have any other option left to socialise with their friends. The concept of farmhouses has been changed into private party sites as now people do not use them for farming but they rent them for private parties. Especially in Delhi NCR region farmhouses have became party destinations for urban crowd. The party-goers do love the farmhouse parties but there is another darker side to these parties... Rampant alcohol and drug abuse, and sex involving call girls or free lancers. There have been various incidents of frequent violence in these parties.
