Aromatic smell fills the air with these trees on the sidewalks in the summer. Champak is commonly planted for its aromatic flowers and its other uses for timber and medicinal purposes. Creamish flowers on the Magnolia trees in full bloom at our Wilderness Orchard. This tree is common in the South Asian countries. The bi products made from the parts of the plants are used as pesticide in some traditional farming techniques. The bark of this tree is sometimes used as an adulterant for cinnamon. Magnolia champaca, known in English as champak, is a large evergreen tree in the family Magnoliaceae. It was previously classified as Michelia champaca.
