Women performing on regional songs on the occasion of 'Phool Walon Ki Sair' The Phool Walon Ki Sair is the 'festival of flower sellers' , organised by the Anjuman Sair-e-Gul Faroshan, the festival is seen as an example of the composite culture of Delhi and is celebrated by both Hindus and Muslims. Every year, after the monsoon has washed away the heat and dust of the summer, a procession, led by shehnai players and dancers, presents floral pankhas (fans) at the ancient shrine of Yog Maya before making its way through the Mehrauli bazaar to place curtains made of flowers on the tomb of Saint Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki.
