Narendra Chanchal says "When I sing people get to know about my singing and where all I have performed or where all I will be performing next. With the help of a computer, we get to hear new things and different things so I want to ensure that our Indian classical music reaches the years of people sitting in their homes at far off places." Narendra Chanchal Ji was born on the 16th of October, in a religious Punjabi family in Amritsar. His mother believed in Goddess Durga and eventually, inspired Narendra with bhajans and aartis. In the beginning, Narendra was inclined towards music. He participated in many cultural programmes in his native place.
