Brenton Rickard says "I am almost 27-year-old now and I am living on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Being a warm part of the world you just grow up in the water whether it was at the beach or in the pool so swimming is one of those things thats in my veins. My older brother swam at the 1998 Commonwealth Games back in Kuala Lumpur so I always thought that if he could do it I could do it better so that's how I got into swimming. This week has been a great week and I am happy with my results."
