Politician Mani Shankar Aiyar speaks about his childhood ambition. He says " I always wanted to be an actor that was my big ambition when I was a 13 year old boy. But then I looked at my face very carefully in the mirror and found that when you looked it from the right then there is touch of Dev Anand and If you looked it from left its entirely Jhonny Walker. So I wasn't able to make up my mind whether I wanted to be a great actor or a funny little comedian. So I never had a career in the film." Mani Shankar Aiyar is a former Indian diplomat turned politician. He was a member of the Indian National Congress party and was a part of first Cabinet (2004–2009) of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. He has served as the Union Minister of Panchayati Raj until he lost his seat in the 2009 election.
