The Kumari Ghar or the residence of Living Goddess, Kumari, in Kathmandu is situated at the Durbar Square near the in Hanuman Dhoka Palace. The big three-story brick building houses Kumari the living goddess of Kathmandu and is also famous for its magnificent carved wooden balconies and window screens. Tourists are allowed to enter the courtyard where you can find more magnificent reliefs of gods and symbols over the doors, on the pillars, and around the windows.
