Kumari Cinema is in the heart of the Nepali Capital, Kathmandu. One can see posters for Ice Age 2 and X-men on the walls of the theater. Idol of Godess Kumari can also be seen. The cinema hall has taken its name after the goddess Kumari an Avatar of Goddess Durga in Hinduism Once a typical cinema house, Kumari was renovated and turned into a multiplex in 2005. The management is now taken over by Quest Vision entertainment (p) Ltd. one of the leading entertainment and production houses in Nepal.
