Rain basera shelter homes on roadsides in Delhi. When the rural unemployed move to Indian urban centers, they become the urban poor, and with water, shelter, food and employment issues, their lives become that much worse. The Delhi Government provides metal shelters with metal bunk beds inside, that are sweltery in the summers but rather warm and cosy in the Delhi winters, along road sides.
