Akbar Khamisu Khan says "In Pakistan's history of cultural art, my father was the greatest player of the Algoza and when he started showcasing his talent in 1955 on Radio Pakistan in Karachi, Pakistan. Pakistan was not that old back then and the cultural department noticed his talent and promoted him to perform abroad. I feel fortunate to have started following this art and I am being appreciated and motivated just as my father was." Akbar Khamisu Khan, 1976, born in Hyderabad, Pakistan, he is a son of great alghoza player Khamiso Khan. Algoze (Punjabi: ਅਲਗੋਜ਼ੇ) is a pair of Punjabi woodwind instruments adopted by Sindhi, Rajasthani and Baloch folk musicians, also called Jorhi, Do Nally, Satara or Ngoze.
