The magnificent fort and palaces found all over the country are not always in the best of physical shape but even the structural dereliction cannot hide the splendor of their heritage. In many cases, the properties have already been restored to their original grandeur and the links with the past re-established. In an effort to promote the preservation of these properties, palaces, Havelis, forts, and residences over 50 years old have been brought under the new classification of heritage hotels. Aman Nath, Co-promoter, Neemrana Fort Hotel speaks about the restoration of Neemrana Fort. He says, " It was just a ruin there was not one door, there was not one window all the floors have been removed so what is the joy of restoration is to have done all that and people think that it was all there
