50,000 tonnes of mango wood to 'reduce' air pollution at the Meerut Mahayagna in Meerut. 350 Brahmins have gathered in Meerut for a 9-day Mahayagna aimed at reducing pollution. What is bizarre, however, is that over 500 quintals of mango wood would be burnt during the yagna.
