Basically, a Laggi is made of a thin and long bamboo in which an iron hook is connected on the top and this is used for picking mangoes from the high branches of the tree. As you can see in this video, boys are picking mangoes with the help of Laggi in the orchards of Pavli Khas, and they are sorting the good quality mangoes. Basically, Pavli Khas village is known for its mango orchards, includind the varieties ofLangra, Chausa, Dussheri / Dussehri, Silat, Gulabjamun and Retaul.
