A household in rural India brimming with activity as the woman prepares food with a firewood fueled heat source. Rural households in India majorly use firewood and dried cow dung for cooking and to keep themselves warm. With the easier availability of LPG stoves and cylinders in subsidized rates from various government schemes, these households have shifted to preparation of food with LPG fueled stoves. LPG cylinders are carried to places by suppliers and small scale distributors through cycles etc,.
