Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden is one of the very popular tourist hangouts in Sikkim, 24 kilometers away from Gangtok and is easily accessible by road. Established in the year 1987 the garden is now preserved by the Forest Department. Blessed with mesmerizing beauty, Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden is full of greenery and serenity. It is located near Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim. It is a home to several species of plants, trees and flowers. Beautiful Flowers and Orchids of the Himalayan region are present in abundance here.
