Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is an Indian politician and was former member of the politburo of the Communist Party of India. He was the Chief Minister of West Bengal from 2000 to 2011. This interview was on winning the elections and defeating the Congress. Buddhadeb is asked if the election results were according to his expectations of not to which he says that though they have won the elections with a neck to neck battle, they expected more seats from areas like Behala and Ballygunge where they have traditional supporters. Buddhadeb even goes ahead to say that congress has done a good job by accuiring 36 more seats as compared to the previous elections.
