Residents in parts of West Bengal march the streets to reject the CAA/NRC Bill that was passed in the Parliament in 2019. The bill was met by numerous rallies across the country to revoke the bill. "Goondagardi nahin chalegi", they chant. Demonstrators are seen with effigies clothed in black to symbolise the bill which is considered discriminatory by Muslims and other minority communities in India. The marchers are heard chanting for the bill to be taken back and the effigy consigned to flames.
