Yumjao Mayum Living Art Academy is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) working the field of Art & Culture, etc. The NGO works towards the promotion of sustainable development. The organization is operational in Manipur, India. With Manipur also known as “Little Paradise on earth”, using it as the setting for a festival is a natural choice. The Sangai Festival, previously known as the Tourism festival, was renamed in 2010. The state animal of Manipur, the Sangai Deer, being the inspiration for the name.
