A vignettes of morning life in an Indian city. In this case, 1990's Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Labout hand around a tea shop, a saree clad woman gets to work, a STD, ISD and photostat shop opens, a morning walker passes by, flexing his shoulders for exercise. The cake is however taken by the policeman who ambles by busily, brushing his teeth with one hand, rifle and gamcha cloth on his shoulders. A cycle rickshaw driver lovingly cleans the spokes of his cycle rickshaw's tyres.
