This song is about growing up in Australia as a migrant from Mauritius and trying to balance traditions, adapting to the Australian way of life as well as fusing cultures. There is a heckler in the background, making fun of keeping the culture. Humble gratitude to Marceau Camille for helping me make this song take shape, Guy Saminaden of Soundguy Productions for the musical arrangement and montage of the video clip and Linda Deojee for the backing vocals.
