Hyacinth plants flowering in Delhi. Hyacinth bulbs are fairly non-fussy but they often flower within the leaves and have to be coaxed to flower out and up. A whiff of a strong fragrance and bursts of different colours are what hyacinths in the ground usually mean, and you can also grow the bulbs in just water in a flower vase, but that weakens the bulb and can also kill it, if the bulbs are not planted soon after...
