An Indian hare or Black-naped Hare (Lepus nigricollis) quenching its thirst in Jhalana Leopard Park, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. See the red ears with the exposed veins with heavy blood flow. We wonder what they have to do with its heightened sense of hearing! The background audio track is a mixture of Indian Peafowl, Pied Crested or Jacobin Cuckoo and Five-stripe Palm Squirrel.
