Great Blackvein butterflies sucking nectar from Aesculus flower in Landour. Spring-time brings with it a profusion of Himalayan butterflies and flowers. These Wanderer butterflies flit around the profuse blossoms on this Aesculus indica tree in Uttarakhand. In May each year, thousands of Great Blackvein butterflies (Aporia agathon) descend on the blooms of the Himalayan Horse Chestnut (Aesculus indica) at the Wilderness Orchard and botanical gardens at Jabbarkhet, in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
