In the cool hill station climate of Jabbarkhet, farmers are building agricultural greenhouses on small patches of land, transforming traditional fields into climate-controlled growing spaces. A greenhouse is a protected structure made with transparent polymer sheets that trap heat and shield crops from harsh weather. The process begins by preparing the land, setting up metal or PVC frames, stretching UV-stabilized polyfilm, and installing ventilation and irrigation systems. These structures allow farmers to control temperature, humidity, moisture, and light, creating the perfect environment for vegetables, flowers, herbs, and high-value crops. In hilly regions like Jabberkhet—where cold winds, irregular rainfall, and low temperatures affect farming—greenhouses ensure year-round cultivation
