Adnan Sami: "When I was told the title of the film is Dhamaal, a mental picture comes to mind. I wanted to first understand what the story was. When he narrated the story to me, at first he didn't, but then he felt it needed music. It's going to be a wild race and goose-chase. He wanted pacy music, up tempo, something which could work in clubs. Musically speaking, I was getting the opportunity to create a different type of music. It was very exciting for me. I was looking forward to it. If we can swing to it..."
