Situated at an elevation of 1100 ft, Jalore Fort offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Jalore, famously known as Granite City. Granite City, Jalore is a city located in the vibrant state of Rajasthan and this small, industrious town is famous for its stone quarries and for producing some of the finest granite in the world. The primary fascination of Jalore is the Jalore Fort. Known to be one of the unconquerable and invulnerable forts of the country, the noteworthy Jalore Fort is roosted on a steep hill. The actual construction period of Jalore fort is unknown, however, it is believed that the fort was built in between 8th-10th century. Jalore city was ruled by the Parmar Rajputs in the 10th century.
