Vedic scholars of Varanasi mesmerised everyone present with Vedic Chants of Veda-Shakha Swadhyaya on the Gala opening of Delhi International Arts Festival at Purana Qila, Dehi. The Delhi International Arts Festival, one of India’s most prestigious cultural festivals, began in New Delhi. The Union Ministry of Culture and Indian Council for Cultural Relations are the principal collaborators of the festival . The inaugural function saw an array of performances by dancers from Turkey, Kazakastan and Malaysia as well as an opening rendition of vedic chants of ‘Veda-Shakha Swadhyaya’ .
