The Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital was founded by Dr. Sheila Singh Paul in 1956 as Delhi’s first independent hospital. Today, KSCH exists as a branch of Lady Hardinge Medical College and is operated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. With a bed strength of 375 beds, KSCH is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Asia and houses the largest neonatal wing in Delhi.
