Odisha's rich nautical past is reflected in an intriguing collection of marine antiquities found inside the Odisha State Marine Museum at Jobra. Exhibits include an enamelled jar and bowl, antique salt pots, a miniature anchor with a chain that was once used for river navigation, a traditional power boat, and a Sukani light. The presentation also includes the Jobra workshop part, which shows the tools and spaces used before the commencement of restoration work. The museum, located in Cuttack, preserves ancient maritime equipment while telling the story of historical trade, navigation, and boat-building customs in coastal Odisha.
