Watch a craftsman making lac or lacquer bangles at the shop itself in full display for the shoppers in Dilli Haat. These colourful bangles are moulded to the desired design and colour by melting lac clay over a coal fire. The melted clay is cast onto a model of the wrist made of wood and when it is cooled down final touches are given and displayed for sale. Dilli Haat is famous for its ethnic products and the variety of souvenirs found in this market is a favourite of tourists and locals alike.
